Our founder is engaged! Over the weekend, Vivian and her fiancé, Max, were engaged in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina. We wanted to share their story with our readers as they follow Vivian along her wedding journey.
-
Vivian met Max while attending Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. After graduation, they moved to Los Angeles, where Vivian attended University of Southern California for graduate school and Max pursued a career in sports working for the Los Angeles Football Club.
After a few years on the West Coast, Vivian decided to move back home to Naples, Florida and launch Henri Noël alongside her father. The family jewelry business was a staple of Vivian's upbringing and she hoped to create a brand for the next generation of jewelry consumers. Looking to be closer to Vivian, Max accepted a position in Charlotte, North Carolina with the Carolina Panthers. Vivian now splits her time between Naples and Charlotte, expanding her business across the country.
Now let's get to the proposal details, shall we?
This past weekend, Max flew in his two siblings- Gracie & Joe - and convinced Vivian to head to Jetton Park for a photoshoot for Gracie's job at Casamigos. By her own admission "she'd do anything for tequila", so without hesitation Vivian said she would help model for Gracie.
Upon their arrival, Gracie said she wanted to set up and suggested he and Vivian explore the park while they waited. After a short walk, Vivian turned a corner to find a gazebo decorated especially for them. Right there and then- Max dropped down on one knee and popped the question!
Max's siblings captured the moment from behind the trees. After a quick photoshoot in the park, the group headed to dinner at Haberdish in Noda. Another surprise awaited Vivian, as she was greeted by their families and friends from across the country.
The sweetest detail was the fact that Vivian's father helped Max design the ring- where he sorted, color-matched and set each of the marquise diamonds to create this one-of-a-kind eternity band.
Keep scrolling because we have the details on it!
We have a 2.25ct xxx GIA certified Oval Diamond set in a four-prong head on a 1.20ct Marquise Eternity Band. Marquise diamonds are horizontally set in a rose gold band, which in itself makes this design a bit unique.
Congratulations to Vivian and Max on a beautiful love story. Stay tuned for her journey and tips for planning a wedding!
